Entry Requirements

Open to students of all ages and proficiency levels.
A free placement test is conducted to determine the most suitable course level.

Duration

The duration of the Cambridge English programmes varies depending on the qualification level:

Young Learners English (YLE) Levels
- Pre A1 Starters
- A1 Movers
- A2 Flyers
  Duration: 10 months (approximately 35 weeks)
Cambridge Main Suite Qualifications
- A2 Key for Schools (KET)
- B1 Preliminary for Schools (PET)
- B2 First for Schools (FCE)
  Duration: 6 months

Cambridge English to IELTS Progression Guide

Cambridge English Qualifications are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), which also underpins IELTS. This means students who complete higher Cambridge levels are well positioned to progress to IELTS preparation.

Approximate equivalencies include:

B1 Preliminary for Schools (PET) → Comparable to IELTS 4.0–5.0
B2 First for Schools (FCE) → Comparable to IELTS 5.5–6.5
C1 Advanced (CAE) → Comparable to IELTS 7.0–8.0

Certification

Cambridge English certificates are issued directly by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
